The Vintage Round Top at Marburger Farm in Round Top, Texas

Today is opening day of the Marburger Farm antiques show in Round Top, Texas. I spent the day yesterday styling and photographing the booth of

The Vintage Round Top

. It's so fun to sneak in the day before to see what's going on in those big white tents before the show opens.

Remember their booth from last fall

? They created quite a buzz with their vintage circus theme.

I've got some sneak peeks for you of their new spring show, "The French Naturalist", taken with my phone yesterday. It's quite an experience so I hope you're able to visit them this week at Marburger.

The Marburger Farm

show runs from April 1-5. Visit Paige and Smoot of

The Vintage Round Top

in Tent C, Booth 10 for beautiful antiques from France and colorful spring inspiration.

The Vintage Round Top

Just days before the Marburger Farm antiques show was scheduled to open, I received a call from Paige Hull, owner of The Vintage  Round Top, a charming, hip rental cottage in Round Top, Texas.

Paige and her husband, Smoot, were setting up at Marburger for the first time and asked if I could fill in last minute for their stylist who was unable to make it.  After seeing her gorgeous home and some shots of the merchandise from France they would be selling at the show, I couldn't say "yes" fast enough. We had the best time pulling together all the details that Paige so lovingly chose.  The space that Paige and Smoot envisioned and then created defies description, so I'll let you experience it through my lens.

These small notebooks were gifts for bloggers and designers that visited The Vintage Round Top at Marburger Farm. If you missed them, I hope you'll have a chance to meet Paige and Smoot at the spring show or treat yourself to a relaxing and inspiring weekend at their adorable cottage in Round Top, Texas.

Down the Road Show with Holly Mathis

My trip to Round Top a few weeks ago was a last minute day trip. I almost didn't go. My

deadline was hanging over my head, clients and kids needed my attention and I didn't think there was any way I could get away with it.

But one word in an e-mail from my friend

Holly Mathis

had me packing a backpack and out the door bright and early the next morning.  "Come!"  she said.  Well....OK!

Holly was co-hosting a web-TV pilot at Marburger Farm for

Texas Live

which is a regional publication that is also developing an online presence. This "Down the Road" video is a show produced by

Clover Carroll

and his cutie-pie wife Rachel.

And guess who got to be in the video with Holly?  Yes, me. At the very end of the video..sitting with Holly at the end of a very good shopping day.

Check out

"Hollywood" Mathis

at work showing Clover and Rachel what Marburger is all about. She's a natural in front of the camera and knows her stuff. If you've never been to  Round Top you will love this!!

Magnolia Pearl

Yesterday I made a quick trip over to Round Top to do some personal shopping and check out the Marburger shows. I didn't take pictures for the blog so I could soak up the experience for myself and not spend the day behind the camera.  Until I saw  Magnolia Pearl.

One step into Magnolia Pearl's booth inside Tent A at Marburger and you forget the high end trends and fine antiques you were just coveting. You've just entered a microcosm of girlyness, a fairy circle of ladies dressing and undressing and floating on clouds of linen and silk from the Plantation collection made especially for the fall Marburger show.
